2005 Winnebago Vectra 40KD Water Heater

I am having trouble with my hot water coming out of faucets. It comes out in a tiny stream. I've been told it might be the check valve in back of water heater. has anyone had this problem and can I get at it to replace it?

Yes and Yes, though it's a bit of a pain. The check valve is on the back of the water heater as you've been told. To access mine (same floorplan as yours, 1 year older) I had to get underneath the coach to get up behind the water heater bay. There was a cutout that allowed access to the back of the water heater. Tight fit but it can be done, though the next time I'll hire a younger guy to do it or go to a shop where they have a lift or pit.

I had the exact same problem. Replace both check valves as I structed above and all is good

Sounds like the check valves on the water heater. We had the same happen while camping two years ago, I removed them and temporarily piped them in with some old washing machine hoses that I keep as spares.
When I replaced them I used brass ones from McMaster Carr.
