We are very close to ordering a 2006 Journey 39K. I saw on their web site that the exterior storage space for the 39K is decreased from 141 cu ft to 89 cu. ft. My dealer called the rep and he said it is because the storage under the curb side slide will come out with the slide now. Has anyone seen a 2006 and checked out the storage space? I have 3 young kids so we need lots of storage. I put the brakes on my order for now until I can get more info on this or take a look at a 2006 model. Thanks for any info you guys might have on this.

Strange that you should ask. I was reviewing specs on the W/E and found same problem. Have sent and email off to Itasca dealer asking if this is correct or misprint. Seems like you have answered the question.
I simply would NOT give us what we have now (145 cu ft) and drop to 98.7 so the 39K Meridian/Journey are off the list for sure if these specs are correct.
Looking at the Ellipse/Tour I can't figure out why the FD is so much more than the KD.
We would like two slides up front but the storage issue is going to make it very difficult to stick with Winnie if the Ellipse/Tour prices are way beyond the Meridian/Journey and close to 05 Horizon/Vectra prices.
