2007 Winnebago Voyage 35l slide won't respond
Hello all,
We were finally able to bring home our new (to us) 2007 Winnebago Voyage 35L. Of course, everything worked at the dealership every time we visited it, but we got home, parked it, did our best to level it (but it is not exactly level, we will work on that more tomorrow), and tried to put the slides out. The living room slide works fine, but when we tried the bedroom slide, the control pad flashed 4 green. I had the ignition on, engine running, slide did not move. The house batteries were on. I tried the thing where you shut the batteries and ignition off and turn them on again, no change. I THOUGHT the generator was running but then realized it was off. It would turn over but not start. Checked, my full gauge was just over 1/4 of a tank, so I'm going to fill it tomorrow. I'm guessing that is why the generator isn't running. But the slide, I have no idea.
I plugged the RV in to a dedicated 20amp line, so I have that going in now, still not change on the slide. Any ideas?
This is the rear bedroom slide. Worked just fine at the dealership, we saw it goi in and out more than once. Will it only work if the generator is running?
The ride home from the dealership went over one section of road with pretty bad potholes on the passenger side of the vehicle, could that have been an issue?
Thank you.

Having the generator running should have no impact. If your batteries wee low it would attempt to come in, slowly, or maybe groan at you. I doubt a couple potholes would seriously damage the slide. I'm not sure what control pad you are talking about. In my Journey there are just switches for all three slides. Are yours electric or hydraulic? If electric they may have individual circuit breakers for each. If they are hydraulic it could just be the switch or the solenoid for that particular slide. Since the front slide works you can hear the pump run when it operates? That would lead me to believe either switch or solenoid.
I would take it back to the dealer and have them fix it or show you what you are doing wrong.

Hi
I have the 2007 Winnebago voyage and have often used the bedroom slide with and with out engine running and no jacks down when pulled into a layby on route for a rest. The parking brake obviously has to be on so I would think you may have a dodgy switch or possible loose connection somewhere, you can try trouble shoot yourself but as previously mentioned the dealer maybe able to help and save a lot of head scratching if he's conveniently close and doesn't require a drive across the USA>
Good Luck

I found a manual in one of the drawers! I misread the code, its THREE green lights.
Front actuator battery voltage less (during start up)
Any ideas how to fix that? Thanks.

Does anyone know where the breakers or fuses are for the slides? They aren't with the rest under the sink. I can't seem to locate them.

Hi
Onebrit again. See if Winnebago tech support can help you, I haven't had an issue with slide not working electrically but have tapped into there knowledge for other issues such as my main slide was out of line due to MFG error I reinforced the support brackets and adjusted slide no other problem with that since. I would spend some time on it before doing a 4hrs round trip hope your dealer is better than the one I dealt with.
And if they keep your coach which is likely that's 8hrs you've spent just driving back and forth plus your gas expense.
Good Luck Onebrit.
I'll see if I can find where breakers are and let you know If I find out.

Hi me again
Just looked up 3 flashes fault code appears a low voltage from battery, you can look up Lippert Kwickie Digi sync on line they may also be able to help you. From what I briefly read no mention of a circuit breaker. Try running your engine set level jacks and try again may need to recharge batteries check water level in batteries before charging.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, I did the engine, jacks, and tried again, no luck. Batteries are all brand new and fully charged. Other slide works no problem in and out. I can only think I jarred something loose on the way home, at least I hope that's all it is. The dealership doesn't open until Tuesday, but I'll try the other options mentioned here. Worse comes to worse, there's a local mobile RV tech that has great reviews. The dealer I bought it from is a small time place, one mechanic who only works half-days. I'm not expecting much from them, but who knows.

A Winnebago tech told me where to find the rear slide circuit breaker. I didn't even know there was a panel there, it was behind the top step, the batteries are under the second step. Didn't matter, I reset it and no change. So I called the mobile RV tech, he's coming over to check it out...in a month. Oh well. I'll keep working at it.

I'm guessing you have a similar system to mine: Kwikee Digi-Sync electric slide (not hydraulic). There is a controller for each of the slides. They are about 3 inches x 5 inches with some electrical plugs coming out of them. Mine are in basement compartments - living room slide controller is above propane tank and bedroom slide controller is in basement compartment under kitchen sink. I don't know where yours are but an internet search should help. Since your living room slide works, I would take a look at the bedroom slide controller. Try unplugging the connectors and plugging them back in. Maybe you have a loose connection or a bad ground.

Believe me, I've been looking for it. I can easily find everything for the front slide, it's all laid out pretty openly in the front compartments. I swear I can't find such a thing for the rear slide! I'm going to keep looking though. Thanks.
