I have an 02 Winnie Adventurer w/Chevy as well - depending on how loaded up you keep it - avg mpg we get is 8-12 (10). HTH
Problems - are relative to who owned it before hand and how well it was maintained....
They all have issues with the Motoraid coach heater blower - you'll have a switch on your dash for it - hi/off/lo - the squirrel cage creeps off of its shaft and causes the blower motor to overheat and blow fuse which may affect the same circuit your rear camera is on.
The Chevy chassis a/c is weak IMO, and some folks report issues with the chassis temp controllers due to bad vacuum hoses...
Other than those - ours has been pretty solid since we bought it in Sept of last year. We are going through and updating and upgrading certain things just due to age etc.
Only other issues are the outside storage door lift shocks....

Ask EdGray to check and make sure your Chevy chassis has had all its recalls done...
