2009 winnebago

I have a friend here in the park that has a class C Winnebago on a Dodge frame. He had a battery issue. Now he has replaced the battery fully charged and he doesn't get anything. The dash lights won't even light up.

The battery is hooked up properly and the battery disconnect switch is on.

Any ideas what might cause this.

By the way it has the Mercedes diesel engine.

Vehicle description: Itasca Navion IQ - Dodge Sprinter chassis- model: 2009 ID254DL

Thanks in advance for any help.

Wiring info available at the Winnebago site would be a good place to start .

Look for a system fuse or circuit breaker , that may have been tripped or blown during the battery swap.

OK ; on re-reading your post , I have questions .

Which battery (ies ) were replaced ; coach or chassis ?

Is the issue that is no power to the interior , or that the engine won't run ?

The chassis is likely a 2008. The 2007 and 2008 has an issue with what is known as the "Y" cable which was fixed in succeeding years. (see Sprinter link)

Also make sure the battery disconnect cable by the accelerator pedal is firmly pushed onto the stud till it clicks. (see You Tube link)

It is the engine start battery. He can't turn the key on due to lack of power.
Yes it is a 2008 actual build.

Y cable tests OK

I revised my earlier post to include a You Tube of the chassis battery disconnect cable. The battery switch by the steps has nothing to do with the chassis battery.
