Chasis battery requires constant battery charging. Will hold a charge for about 5 days. I installed a battery minder and kept the coach plugged into shore power but that cooked the coach batterys. What are other options. Thankx

I'm no expert here, but you may have something on the chassis side that is drawing power when it's not suppose to. I would check the basement storage lights...I've had some that the switches didn't disengage when the door was closed.
Anyway just a thought. There are so many great people on this site that are helpful I'm sure you'll get pointed in the right direction. You can even search previous "threads" having similar problems. Please let us all know what you find...it helps all of us.
Good Luck and Safe Travels!

I keep my chassis battery connected to a battery tender and haven't had any problems with it cooking the battery. What kind of battery minder did you use?
You can find the Battery Tenders at most auto parts stores but here is the link to them.

You need to have a battery tender with a float mode. When the proper voltage in the battery is reached, the tender goes into float mode and waits on the voltage to go down before charging again. I have a tender on mine and it runs 24/7 and have never had it cook out a battery.
