2012 Itasca Ellipse Slide out Rollers
Has anyone replaced slide out rollers. Mine are leaving rubber deposits on the tile. The rubber wipes off easily, but I am afraid at some point all the rubber will wear off the rollers. The driver’s side full wall slide lifts up a bit and the rollers are visible. But the passenger side slide is flush to floor. So any hints at how to do this job would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes
I added an additional roller assembly between the last two under the heavy end of the slide (rear).
I will look for my photos and post them soon.

Correction
Sorry My passenger side slide doesn’t drop down. So my method won’t work on yours.

I would check with Winny and see if they would replace under good will.

That would be a whole lot of good will on an 8 year old coach, but I’ll give it a shot.

Mine were replaced under warranty with a new style. Still worth asking.

I researched your build and if you would like to change the rollers yourself, I can help by sharing the details of how I changed mine and where I purchased the upgraded rollers.

Jesse,
Yes please share with me. Did you do the rollers of both slides?

Yes
Our coaches are very similar however my kitchen slide has the the Schwintek mechanism which doesn’t drop down. Replacing your kitchen slide rollers would the same as your full wall slide.
Info coming soon

F117Driver: Did you contact Winnebago yet? They "overnighted" the roller replacements for our 2012 Tour with Power Gear slide mech.
Somewhere in the stack of owner manuals is a number to call. They were very helpful.
You have nothing to lose. Also ask if they can do it at the factory or a dealer who has experience doing replacements. Good luck.
