2013 Reyo, 25t, remote key fob won't unlock door

I have a 2013, Reyo 25t, built on the MB/sprinter chassis. My key fob remote for the power doors quit unlocking the driver's door. It still worked for the chassis/passenger door. I was able to remove the linkage from the actuator and manually unlock my door. Since that time, now when I use the remote to unlock the passenger door I can hear the actuator run on the driver's door, however it was making an awful screeching noise. So, I took the door panel off and looked at it, reattached the linkage and it actually worked. Still making awful noise though. Because I'm on a trip and don't want to get lock out, I took the linkage off and I'm manually locking the driver's door.

The actuator is a MB's part. I plan on ordering one when I get home and try to replace it myself. I'm out of warranty on my rig.

I'm assuming I will have to reprogram the key fob remote if I replace the actuator, or will I? If so, does anyone know how to so this, or where I can find out how?

You shouldn't be out of warranty its 36 months on the sprinter chassis.

I just had over a thousand dollars worth of warranty work done by a mercedes dealer on my 2013 25R Via and its 18 months old. No charge whatsoever.
