2013 Sunstar 30T how to Ethernet cable

Hello everyone,

I am hoping some folks have found a way to get a ethernet cable up into the rig from either the storage locker with the water pump or the compartment that has the mobile satellite connection and water connection in it. I currently use the water pump location to house my Starlink router in which it is ok for email and some streaming by WiFi but not good enough for some TV programs that results in buffering. I have found that if I have a wired connection I do not get the buffering. Any solutions out there.

I used Netgear Powerline PLP1200 adapters to provide an Ethernet connection from the electrical bay to a cabinet above the driver's seat. They worked well. A link to the adapter product page is here.

Ethernet cable

Thanks for getting back to me. This may solve my problem. So is this the way it works I plug one of the two devices into the electric box in storage bay and cable from the device into my modem Ethernet output in the same bay. Then I would take the other device and plug it into the electric box in the cabinet above the drivers seat and a cable from the device into my device needing a Ethernet connection. In my case it would be a switch or other device like a Roku?

Ekbsunstar-

At the electrical bay (sending) end I had to use a small outlet strip, as I had one receptacle and three 120V devices (converter, modem, Powerline adapter).

Avoid plugging the Powerline adapters into surge protectors. I had no problems with that simple power strip.

At the cabinet (receiving) end I had an open receptacle with enough room to install the Powerline adapter. The Ethernet cable ran to the WAN port on my Pepwave Surf SOHO router.

Some folks report the Powerline adapters do not work for them. You may want to buy them from a place with a zero-or-low-hassle return policy. They worked fine for me, both in the RV and at home.

Thanks again for your help. I will be purchasing the power line adapters (same ones that you purchased) from Amazon.
