We traded a 2008 Winnebago Aspect class c for a 2016 Vista class A. I personally like the class A better. Ours is 32 Ft. I think all the Vista's have a fiberglass top, which to us was important. We like our unit. Much nicer than the Intent. Better quality. Our Aspect, however, was an upgrade to the Vista in quality inside, but, the Vista is nice. Easy to drive and set up. We get anywhere from 7-8 mpg. We tow a 2015 chevy spark (manual). Don't even know we're towing it, because it is so light. Blue ox tow bar. Good luck to your parents. Hope this helped.

Welcome to the Vista club. A 2016 Vista has a 6 speed transmission and beige gel coat?

This is great! We traded our 2005 aspect for our 2015 Vista!

Inefficient Dash AC

The only negative I have to say about it is the dash AC is useless. I've taken it in and they tested it and told me it's working fine, but it flat does not blow cold air.

Not a huge deal because we just fire up the Generator and AC.
I know I am coming in late but... I solved the problem of poor heat/cold air on the driver side by reorienting the bracket that holds the hose . It now blows down instead of up under the dash.
I also partly blocked the outlet on passenger side to better equalize the distribution.

Most of them are bent in my MH. I decided I would wait till one falls off, then I will reshape it and glue it back on place.

It has been a while since posting. Our dash air conditioning is not working. Our generator quit working. That was an expensive repair. Not just once, but a second time. We us the generator constantly, so it is needed. I had to replace the door lock mechanism. My wife and dog were inside when it broke. I managed to step up on the front tire to climb in. Lucky, that I was not asked to step out of the vehicle at the Canadian border.
If you have not replaced the door lock, then I would recommend to do that. The original design is cheap and you can get locked out.
