We have been to GNR several times. We are planning to go again this year. We have made new friends from all over the US and Canada. There is nighty entertainment. There is a Row Party where all the state clubs give out snacks at the front of each row. That is my favorite activity. There are lots of vendor displays. If you have never attended GNR I encourage you to give it a try.
The down side is you are dry camping. There is a water hydrant it the head of each row and attendees often work together and hook their water hoses to each other and fill all the coaches at one time. You can purchase pump out tickets and have your holding tanks pumped. We have learned how to conserve water and have never had to pump out. We use the public restrooms as often as convenient. There is a minimum of 30 amps at each site and many have been upgraded to 50 amps.
