2017 Sunstar 29v Over head bunk

My over cab bed will not move, the control light is on but no movement. Fuse is good in fuse box. Is there a inline fuse somewhere? I can hand crank it up and down no problem.

Hi
If you can find the motor that drives the mechanism, try tapping it while pushing the button I've had similar things happen with our coach couch it turned out that it was sitting on a dead spot on the Commutator, and despite checking connections which appeared to be fine I gave the housing a good tap and away it went hasn't quit since. Of that isn't an exact science but sometimes dumb things work. Having said that obviously I would check the connector at the motor make sure it's in tight unplug and re-plug see if that works.
Good Luck

Hi
Just following up did you resolve your bunk issue? I'm sure others can also offer advice if still needed.

No haven't found the problem yet. No power to motor. Inline fuse?

Just a couple of thoughts - Our 2017 Forza DP has a key that can lock out the controls - if you have a key, is it in the right position?

Also, our bunk will not move if the ignition key is in either Accessory or On.

Hi if your power light is on check that you have voltage at the motor, I would think the light would be off if an inline fuse had blown if it's wired correctly that light should say power to motor is good. However, as I mentioned even with power sometimes DC motors that have sat for a long time can get stuck, having said that I would also think that the motor would have to turn when cranking by hand which should eliminate my dead spot Idea. Can you get an Ohm meter and check the windings one lead on wire the other on the motor body, which is ground, If motor is still good you should get a resistance reading, if bad it will be Zero or open. If in doubt you could also try running a separate power source from a battery and see if motor attempts to run just be careful extend leads from motor so you can attach power while you are in a safe place to test.
Hope this helps.
