2019 Minnie Winnie 22M water check valve leak

Hi - I’m at a campground and it looks like the fresh water tank is getting filled up when I’m connected to the city fill input. Yes I doubled checked :-). I’m thinking it’s the check valve that’s supposed to prevent that from happen.

My question is where is that valve?? I can look at the diagrams when I get home to my computer but was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction until then.

Unless yours is plumbed with a fresh tank fill valve, the only check valve is part of the water pump.

Some RV's have a fresh tank fill valve that allows filling fresh tank from city water hookup. That valve would be in an outside compartment on the driver side. Few class C units would have that.

The water pump does have a check valve as part of it's pump head. It's function is to prevent city water from feeding back thru pump head to tank. When no city water is hooked up, the valve allows water to flow from tank thru pump.

There is also a check valve built into the city water hookup coupling. It prevents water pump pressure from flowing tank water outdoors. It would not affect filling fresh tank.

That’s what I was thinking also. I’m going to run it on the pump for a while to see if there is an obstruction in the valve and maybe wash it out.
