2020 View rear camera

Is there a way of accessing the rear camera, besides putting the coach in reverse.if we wanting to pull a toad ,i would want to keep an eye on it, i found not any information this.

Just turn it on. Mine is a push button on or off.

It looks like there is no way (yet) to activate the rear camera when you are driving. I think basically it is a Mercedes thing - your car's rear view camera shuts off when you put the car in Drive, for example. I think Winnebago just tapped into the standard Mercedes rear view camera circuit.

Your options are to either wait for a factory fix or add a second camera and monitor. Or maybe someone will provide a hack.

Does it power up off the reverse light switch circut? If so, whats to prevent one from tapping into the switch wire? Might need a diode so it does not back feed and turn on the reverse lights.

Actually, given it a second more thought, the easiest would be to just use power from an IGN source such as a radio?

I used the igniton switch.
Some pick up power from the tail-light wire, this means you always run with the lights on though.
