24d Murphy bed manual operation

Apologies if this is answered elsewhere but I have searched and searched and cannot find the answer.

Question: how does one operate the Murphy Bed manually?

There are plenty of videos and instructions for operating a slide out room if the motor or electrics fail but I cannot find any such guides for the Murphy bed. I’d like to know how to raise and lower the Murphy bed if any part of its electrics or motor system stops working. Even that simply $0.50 switch on the wall for example could render the whole bed non-operational.

It is possible to sleep over the cab or convert the dining room table in the event the bed won’t lower, but if it is lowered and then fails, the slide out cannot close.

Any ideas? I assume there is a motor bypass as there is for the slide out room gear system, but I have no idea how to find it or where to look. The compartment under the couch contains the water pump, not the bed motor....

If you scroll up to the Announcements/Stickies at the top of the forum you will see an announcement on Winnieowners.com. You will find lots of discussions about the View/Navions their and someone may have answered your question. It seems to be a pretty active forum. Good luck!
