40WD dinette remodel
So, since I have owned this thing I have enjoyed the interior. The dinette has always been an issue when slides were in and really rendered the area useless. It concerned me if I was at a site and could put out a slide or bad weather and had to pull them in so its time for it to go bye.
-1st picture is what was there minus the table
-2nd picture is taking apart the seat
-3rd "blank slate"
-4th mockup of what I am trying to accomplish. Remount the original stand and re shape the table top. The original design had slides that allowed the top to move, I am trying to utilize that with an add a leaf, but may just hard mount the table.
Sorry for the sideways pictures, I am working on that, unless someone knows a more simple solution to rotate a picture? Seems that even when rotated by editing they still show sideways

I like it. Been thinking of doing something similar to our Sightseer with dinette booth. Seems like your biggist issue is going to be the floor tiles.

Yes! My bride thinks we can find the tile. I am trying to get her to understand that tile is 12yrs old, even the exact tile won't match and the grout line won't either. 12 yrs of wear and tear/dirt. I am going to call WBGO and see what they can offer.
I would like just to put an accent tile in the spot. I think that would look pretty good.

Accent tile area, that sounds good. Better than replacing it all.

This past month dw and I decided to replace the dinette area with table and chairs. After some looking and dreaming we found, for us using the original table would be the best fit. We removed the two bench seats and replaced with chairs. What a great improvement for both looks and space, much easier to get in and out of than the benches.
We did not have to do anything with the flooring however. The one problem we have is with the seat belt mounting brackets on the slide floor. For us the six bolts to remove I would have to remove the under cover of the slide to get to them. At this time we have chosen to wait on that project.

Downlload XNviewMP free version. It does what you want quite easily by changing metadata.

Not much to update. Have been playing around with different woods and stain/techniques to match what WBGO used.
I did call and my wood is Cherry with Honey stain. Sprayed and baked. Well I don't have the luxury of their process and I am not looking to spend the coin on Cherry wood.
I have to box in some wiring and add a3/4 x 8 piece under the window to grab a few wall framing tunes for proper support of the table/leg bracket.
Here is what I have come up with on wood/stain match. Factory Cherry heartwood piece on the right. I am using Poplar on the left.
