Question '99 Winnebago Grand Vectra with HWH 600 series levelers

Does anyone know roughly what the volume of the reservoir that comes with the HWH 600 series system? I just went and checked the dip stick because I was hearing a different sound when re-leveling it in my yard. I've added 3.5qt of ATF compatible with the recommended DEX II and with all jacks up and both push outs in stowed position, I don't see a DROP of oil on it!?

According to page 12 of the Parts Catalog for the 1999 Vectra Grand Tour 37B you have the following HWH system:
100532-01-713 EA PUMP - RESERVOIR ASM. - MONARCH RAP90014
According page 351 of this HWH Parts Manual it has a 1.7 gallon reservoir.

Great work my friend! I've bookmarked those two links for further reference
I have owned this MH for just under a year now and when I moved it in the yard - I heard cavitation noises and when I checked the fluid level (with Jacks up and pushouts retracted) - I couldn't see any fluid on the "dipstick".

I've put 3.5qt of fluid in the tank and it is STILL not showing on the stick.
The MH lifts and levels just fine now though.

I've only taken it on the road twice (once to go to a camp, the other for new tires).. So I'm till green "green gilled" ;-)

Thanks, everyone!

First, make sure you have the correct amount of fluid for the hydraulic system, otherwise it will cause issues. Second, check every hose connection and jack for leaks. The system should be a sealed one, and should not consume fluid.

I hear ya.. Previous owner had it setup for 24/7 occupation for nearly 7 years so i'm sure this was probably never checked..

Thanks!

Yeah - too late, been there - done that.. It was failed when I purchased my MH. I got it from my neighbor across the street who has lived in it 24/7 for the past 5-7 years. They never moved it that entire time so brakes were shot and locked up.. lots of mud doubers and wasps nests - since I live in North Florida.

I've gone thru and done a complete brake job, gotten new tires, patched up the roof and i am currently waiting for a new compressor for the second stage in the air conditioner. I'm pretty handy so this is my "covid project".

Fill the reservoir to the proper level on the dip stick with jacks up, slides in (if they are hydraulic).
