Angry Advantium 120 oven quit while baking bread

Friends: I have a 2004 Vectra 40AD with the original Advantium 120 oven. Today while baking a loaf of bread it quit. The wall circuit is OK, but there is no power to the panel. Is it repairable? Worth repairing since it is 15 years old? If not, any recommendations for a comparable replacement?
Thanks.
Viktor

If you have verified power at the outlet, the likely cause (63% per one web site) is a thermal fuse that is in the oven itself and has a reputation for failing. Sometimes simply unplugging the oven for a bit will cause it to reset, often it's failed and needs to be replaced. A bit of Google work will give you a lot of info. Some say its a 10 min fix, others say a bit longer. Helps to know which model number you have to get the proper part and repair instructions... there are several variations of the GE Advantium 120 oven.

Yes, you can replace the internal fuse, but if all else fails get a new Advantium PN PSA9120SFSS.

Friends: The oven is dead. Can't be repaired. Ordered a new GE PSA9120SFSS as suggested. Will have to modify the top mounting bracket to make it fit, but not a big job. Outside bolts are only off by 1/32". One hole is OK and I will have to drill a new one; 4 bolts instead of 3 for the new oven. I will also have to drill a new 2" hole for the power cord. That should do it, hopefully. Thanks again for your suggestions. They were greatly appreciated.

I have the same coach with the same oven working OK now but it looks like it may fail soon to. Hope not.

I had read some bad reviews about the oven, but thought I was lucky to have a good one. Wrong! When I opened it to check the fuses, I could see that it had been worked on before I bought the rig. After 15 years of use it was time to upgrade. Good luck with yours. Might be a good idea to have it checked. If it dies suddenly, you could be without an oven for some time until you can replace it. It will be going on 2 weeks for me now. Waiting on FedEx...
