Another Gen Question

I assume synthetic oil would be best for my Emerald plus 5000 so anyone know a fram (or other brands) number for the synthetic oil filter? (OEM is 122-0645).

Thank you!

Go to FRAM.COM... enter part number they will cross reference.. I use ph3614.. or TG3614.. it works for me.. tiny bit shorter... but I have oil filter wrench that fits it..
Good luck and let us know what you did and maybe better members then me will help you

Oil filters don't know which type oil they are filtering, they remove contaminants by micron size.

Synthetic lubricants-Aren't

Oil Filter

Your Emerald 5000 Onan generator can use a WIX 42728 oil filter. I would suggest you got to www.amsoil.com for oil and the filter. You will be happy with the results.
