Ordered one from Lichtsinn a couple weeks ago. $5000 deposit and was quoted 12 month lead time.

Nice,

Are you getting a pop top? Will you tow with it?

We ordered one in February that is supposed to be completed at the factory this week. There were apparently parts and chip delays, just like for everything else. I haven't called to get an update, but hoping there are no more delays. We look forward to using it some before the weather makes it difficult to travel.

The wait times are really long now. Not much can be done about it though.

I am looking to change our class A in next 12-24 months and rather than get another A or a super C I am thinking we will just downsize in one step rather than two.

I am still on the fence about the 5 gallon toilet though, as I am about whether a toad is needed.

I wonder if there’s a chance the slightly longer 24 foot version of the EKKO will be reintroduced? It was to have a black tank and regular rv toilet.

That's the one I was interested in. To be honest now I think I prefer the 22.

We ordered in February, right after the prototype appeared at the Florida show. We had been looking at class B's, but the fixed beds and shower caused us to change our minds and upsize some. Also, all the components seem to be quality, and not much in what we had determined we needed to add. One of the B's we were seriously looking at had some costly non-standard things we were going to have to add, such as an awning, screens, TPMS system, and pay extra for windows that opened. For our type of traveling ths cassette toilet will work fine. Also, we are thinking about getting a couple of ebikes and, if needed, will just rent a car for longer jaunts. It's a little unnerving buying something like this sight unseen, but we watched enough videos to make it less scary.

Hi,

I hear you on buying site unseen. To be fair the videos available are great help. Also that Fit RV is purchasing one is a major means a little to me.

@Unicorn Driver,

The Fit RV was instrumental in helping us make our decision.

I bet they were. I am very impressed with them both. They are my kind of bloggers

What stood out to you the most compared to others rv's at the show?

We just got notified that our Ekko has arrived at the dealership, so there are a few beginning to show up in the wild. The delivery was delayed 3 times due to shortages and factory delays, but evidently nothing compared to the delivery times that are being quoted now for a new order. We will be able to pick it up in about a week, and are excited to finally get a look at what we purchased sight unseen!
