Aqua Hot Floor Heat

We have a 2017 Grand Tour with the Aqua Hot floor heat. It seems that the living room and kitchen work fine, as does the full bath. But the bedroom floor is significantly colder than the rest. The repair technician said it is working fine by using a thermometer and that the bedroom does not have the same heat. But when walking barefoot, you can really tell the difference as soon as you walk into the bedroom from either the kitchen or rear bathroom. I got the floor plumbing diagrams from Winnebago, and it shows tubing all throughout the floor at a pretty consistent spacing. I think that the bedroom floor and kitchen floor should feel the same. Or am I wrong?

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks,
Bill

I'd check with a different tech. Maybe do a review and service shop search in your area on RVServiceReviews dot com. Consider mobile techs too.

In my case, I'd consider that a helpful 'feature' not a problem. Because like many people, I prefer to sleep in a cooler bedroom, but would appreciate nice warm floors in the bathroom.

The bedroom is over the drive and tag wheels. It does not have heated compartments to insulate it from the cold. You are heating an uninsulated space under the coach. My 2014 42QD does not have floor heat but the floor in the bedroom is quite a bit colder than the rear bath and the front of the coach. We counter the colder floors with a rug.

We have a 2018 GT 45RL with a similar issue. Front of the coach the heated floors work great. Our bedroom and rear bath do not work at all. I have checked the manifold for the floor water flow and they are fully open. I think the back two may have got air in the lines and since they are at the rear of the manifold there is not enough water pressure to clear the lines. The front of the coach is the first line off the manifold.

I am going to try to clear the lines of air by removing the feed off the manifold and using a manual water pump to push the fluid through the lines. Its been this way since we bought the coach used. Since the front half works....I know it has to be about the water flow to the other two zones...since they all feed off the same main manifold.

We are at the Winnebago Factory Service Center and I listed this as one of the items. The tech made some adjustments and the it is now better. It is not as warm as the living room or rear bathroom, but it did take the chill off of the floor.
