Just came back from going north to providence. On my way i ran into snow and a little ice. On arrival in Providence I went to lower the auto levelers and there wqere no lights on the auto-level display. I pushed the auto level button and nothing. The button for letting the air out of the bags did not work and there were no level indicators lit. The engine was running. It appeared to be a "dead" system. About 5 minutes later, the lights started to flash, air went out of bags, lights for auto level continued to flash, level lights were flashing and then all stopped. The jacks down light came on on the dash but nothing was lit again on the level display. A few minutes later the level indicator lights came on, so i pushed the auto level button and nothing. A few minutes later the jack lights started to light one by one as normal and the coach leveled itself except the front level light relit and all stopped. Later the next day when leaving all worked as normal. Stopped overnight on the way back home, all went down ok and selfed leveled. Next morning the display lights were out again and could not get levels to retract. Again engine was running. During this time the air bags filled and MH came off jacks. I went outside to check jacks to see if they had retracted and they had not. I hit the "let air out of bags button", coach lowered back down on jacks. Went back outside to let jacks up manually when i suddenly heard the front jacks retracting. Went back inside and all lights were flashing including the level lights, all four jacks lights and the auto level light. They seemed to be in some type of flashing timed sequence??? The air bags reinflatted and all was ok exceept one rear jack. By this time all lights had stopp0ed flashing, three jacks up and one solid jack light lit. I lowered the coach again thinking the jack may have frozed in place due to ice, hit the auto level, all jacks operated normal and then retracted normal and coach came back up on air bags.

Question, is there some form of a delay built into the the auto level system, do the level light automatically come on when coach is placed in "P" and why would ALL the light flash in an on/off sequence?

Do I have a problem or is this normal working when in cold weather?

Unit is a 07 Journey 36G, 350 Cat with 6 speed alison.

Doesn't sound right to me. Our works like this:

-Engine key in the accessory position
-Push Level button twice
-Air dumps
-About 10 seconds later the jacks start to extend
-As each jack extends, appropriate jack light is on and remains on until system shuts off
-Jacks do their thing and level the coach
-System shuts off

You should call HWH Monday and run this by them. You might have a bad ground somewhere or maybe a bad control board.

I agree with what John said, Call HWH. My advice for this situation would be to call HWH.

I'll bet something has water in it from smacking a snow drift. The control box for the whole shebang is right under the front-end.

On my last coach ('05 Journey) we had the flashing light syndrome while in Myrtle Beach. Happened once and then everything normal. The second time it happened was during a driving rain storm while we where parking. The next day the coach went dead and had to be towed to Gaffney.

Turned out moisture had somehow gotten into the control panel in the front end. It was a box with a rubber seal and a circuit board in it. Turned out that moisture fried the board and after it was replaced no further problems. I did notice condensation on the inside of the plexi glass covering the circuit board.
