Awning Won’t Open

I wanted to open my awning today and nothing happened. No sounds at all. The door awning is working but nothing from the patio awning. 2001 Journey. Anyone have an idea?

Would help to know the make and model of your awning, but based on your model/year I am guessing its a Dometic/Weatherpro? Could be a lot of things, but since the door awning is working, an easy thing to check is the Wind Sensor on the big awning. Sometimes they flake out, think there is a strong wind, and disable the awning. Depending on your model, you can disable it through the remote, or there might be a switch on the controller box. If that's not the case, next would be power to the awning or the awning motor itself.

If you take the cover off the end of the roller you should find two terminals. Connect 12 volts directly to those and it will determine if power is the issue.
