Basement air, starter/run capacitor...
Recently found a thread that had the compress starter/run
capacitor listed. Someone had crossed the the part # to a
direct replacement on the Amazon web. site.
I thought I had marked the site in my favorites, long story
short I can not find the site even after looking for an hr. or
so last night.
Thanks for any input......coopcolt

The 3 technical things that matter: capacitance in uF (micro Farads), voltage rating, and size/shape (for direct replacement). If you know these 3 things you can find a suitable capacitor.
Don't shop on price alone as the cheap capacitors are cheap for a reason. There *might* be a Made IN USA part for considerably more money; whether it's worth it is your decision to make but I steer clear of cheapest based on experiences with capacitors in uses other than air conditioners.

I do NOT think this is the post I had previously found, that had
all the start/run capacitors listed on Amazon.
I am now trying to cross the numbers to the corresponding
on Amazon.
The search goes on. thanks all........coopcolt

These are the caps and styles for Amazon I bookmarked from that thread, I never took time to verify them though; https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...XT45JOSQ&psc=1
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...28H6PQ2U&psc=1
as an electrician said you should never exceed the original numbers by over 10%.
I think that thread was about 3 years ago.

I had this in my notes. No numbers but may be of some help. It shows separate capacitors.

Been there done that, Dancer. That is the hard start cap.
The way I remember the post, it started out with maybe
the factor part #, an showed the Cap. with the little black
square thing on top. One picture called it "PTCR HARD START".
They had crossed it to a AMAZON number, and it also showed
both the Cap. and the black sq. thingy.
When I get back, I will try to find the web site, maybe Coleman
that shows BOTH items, and cross it to AMAZON.
THANKS, for all the effort.....coopcolt

I guess am confused.
The p/n I referenced is the start cap and PTCR on the basement unit. I replaced several on my 2003 Adventurer, and have 1 in my hand. It is an RVP p/n, they make they basement unit.
The run capacitor is separate.
The PTCR removes the start cap after compressor starts.
This unit is usually available at a local rv parts house.

I looked at the number you had, even Googled it, I did not see the
PTCR in the photo like I remember. Course I could be wong and will
go over it again.
As I remember in Amazon had BOTH in photo and they were 5/8 dollars
cheaper.Than the same photo from whoever the dealer was, Coleman??
Also I want to say they were the same physical size,as the stock Caps.
As I would want to order both together, if I could....coopcolt

Thanks Dancer, with your help, I think that is good.
I had most all the part # the 8333A9021,and
the 69-1260, 1499-5671.
I ran all these numbers on google, Amazon and any
web site I could come up with. Got a lot of returns
but could not get them sold together.
But we got it now, thanks again.....coopcolt
