I assume you have HWH slides. If you are not sure call the Winnebago Help Line at 800-537-1885. Have your serial no. handy. If you are sure you have HWH slides their no, is 800-321-3494. I have seen posts stating they are very slow responding to calls.

We have a HWH employee on this site who has been very helpful to our members here. His user name is AZPETE and his tel no. is 602-549-3638. His email address is pfmaddox@att.net.

Please let us know how this works out for you as we all learn from each other

It sounds like an electrical connection problem since it works intermittently. You might be able to carefully pry your wall switch out and make sure those wires are tight. The emergency brake has to be on, but it must be for the LR slide to be working. Good luck, let us know what you learn.

Second on electrical problem

Parked, parking brake on, motor running. Level coach. Have your significant other on the telephone, looking at the panel on the HWH control box (it is probably next to the HWH pump). It has lots of bright LEDs on it. Press the extend button. A LED or two should light up on the control box. The pump should run. Press the retract . Another LED or two should light up and the pump should run again. If it does, and the slide isn't moving, then the problem is in the HWH system. If the LEDs don't change, then the problem might be in the wiring from the switch to the Control Box. The HWH web site has pretty good documentation about which LED on their control board functions with which valve, which may help your troubleshooting.

As someone had mentioned start at the switch look no further until you confirm switch is not a problem, even if wiring is tight and it still doesn't work use a multi meter to check open and closed operation. This will confirm if the contacts within the switch are working as they should any doubt have an electrician check it for you. If you just play with the switch and can get it work occasionally that's a good sign the problem is right there loose wire or faulty switch keep it simple until proved otherwise.
Hope this helps good luck.

2002 Adventurer Slideout Problem

Thanks everyone for suggestions on our bedroom slideout problem. Itís working again! It was an electrical problem - ground wire that energized the cellanoid to the pneumatic pump was the issue.

Don, if I didnít report that correctly, feel free to explain. We enjoyed meeting you, too! What a coincidence that we are at the same camp ground!

Shoutout to Jackís RV Service who was determined to find our problem. We all learned something on this one.
