Brave 26a advice

Ive been following this forum for about a year. Ive mainly just read as a non registered user, but now since I'm close to making a purchase I was hoping to get some feedback. Ive read and followed several informative threads.

I'm going to be first time rv buyer. I grew up as a Winnebago kid, and its some great memories. I also took a few trips in my young adult days. Now my wife and I want to give our kids similar experiences and a chance to see things that you can't when you stay at a resort, cabin or hotel. Our 2 kids are under 6.

We had been debating between a few models but the brave 26a has almost all the checkboxes of our want/need list. Before the brave we were looking at some of the c class models. Ive started to get quotes from dealerships, and was hoping to get some info as to what a good price quote would be.

Most of the time when I make a purchase I can get pricing samples easily but have found with rv shopping it has been difficult to get sample numbers of what the market looks like.

Are there things I should look out for or do when dealing with dealerships?

Any tips for doing the purchase would be awesome.

Is there a ballpark for the avg price discount from msrp before tax/tags/etc? Ive had a wide range of prices. Ive gotten as low as 75k and as high as 84k before tax/fees. I plan on doing 20% down.

Our experience in buying 5 units, and from what we've heard from others, is that discounts can run from about 20-28% off MSRP. Go to an RV show in your area and you'll get at least a starting point for negotiations.
