Broken deadbolt knob

Is this a standard part or do I need to get a Winnebago specific item?

That part/lever is part of the lock mechanism. IMO the fastest method of replacing it is to call Lichtsinn Motors in Iowa, they are one mile from the W factory. Have your coach VIN, make, year and model ready when calling. I suspect they will respond quicker than the W factory.

I had the same exact red lever. I think it is an old school thermoplastic that becomes more brittle with age. I simply made a new one out of a piece of wood and used the metal insert in the hole.
I ensured that the new lever fit very secure over the shaft. The shaft is round with a flat side for alignment to properly keep the lever in position.

Never thought of getting a replacement from Winnebago.
Let us know how you make out.

So I can just slide it off without disassembling the lock mechanism?

Yes, the lever is held on by friction. Pry or pull the lever and it will slide off. May be tight due to the metal insert that holds it on.
That is how it is assembled after the deadbolt mechanism is installed in the door.
Let us know how you make out.
