Hi Everyone;

I wanted to see if anyone has had any experience in removing a cabinet? I would like to put in a T.V. that is larger than the cabinet door opening in the bedroom. The overall interior shelf area is considerably larger than the opening, so I have thought about dropping the cabinet to install a slightly oversized T.V. and then putting the cabinet back in place. I can see some brackets at the front (inside) at the ceiling but can not readily tell how the cabinet mounts to the sides or rear.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Some cabinets have wood cleats on inside that if you back off the screws the face will come off, others are screwed thru adjoining cabinets.
If your installing a LCD TV they come shallow and you could mount in that space between your wardrobe cabinets. I replaced a 13" TV with a 20' LCD within that same space leaving the doors on the two cabinets either side of the old TV. Check out my install over in Newmar forum may give you some idea.
