Dashboard stereo dysfunction

The radio unit on our 2018 Winnebago Vista LX 30T model started having a loud intermittent whining/screeching/static noise. It replaces the music (not just drowning it out) and comes from all speakers. It happens both with the engine on and the engine off. It happens with both FM radio and satellite radio. It is a Jensen Radio model XRV10. The camera functions still work fine. I tried the reset button, but after reset the problem remained. Typically the unit will work well for a few minutes and then become unlistenable. The unit had worked well for three years. Any suggestions for how to go about diagnosing this or have others experienced something similar?

Up in the overhead cabinet, do you have a switch that says Speaker Source - Radio/TV?

If so, check that that switch isn't half switched. Or broken, or loosey goosey. That's all I got. Good luck.

That was a good suggestion, as we did have that switch in our previous RV. But I couldn't find one (nor was it mentioned in the owner's manuals) in this one.
