There are 2 screws in the top part directly behind the monitor on the flat part. There is also a round vent on the left side that has a couple of screws.

Got the two screws behind the monitor but thought the screws in the round side window vents just held them in the plywood of the top section ... I'll remove them and try again ... Thanks!

You may be right about the defroster vent. Like I said, it has been 5 or 6 years since I had mine apart.

When you get it open can you do me a favor? I have a number of my dash lights out (the ones directly above the switches) and Winnebago and Workhorse can't give me any info on who installed them and what the part numbers are. Can you take a look and get a couple of pictures if possible? I would really appreciate having the info so I can have the parts on hand before I open mine up for repairs.

No hurry. I have an appointment to have my generator fixed on Thursday. I plan on attacking the dash lights next week.

Okay ... now I see why it wouldn't come up ... it was glued in place along the front edge of the top cover piece, to the curved formed steel section that the bottom edge of the windshield is mounted. Don't know if this was intentional or the transfer of adhesive from the assembler gluing the top cover to the foam backing when it was assembled. Had to pry it off with the edge of the pry bar I was using to lift it up.
I'll post the photos so anyone gaining access to the rear of the dash area can see the view. Note that you need to remove the left windshield pillar plastic cover molding to lift the left side dash cover up.
Wayne: you'll see that the instrument cluster has no rear access to the lighting ... you'll need to go further than I did to remove the cluster to access the light bulbs from the face side .... sorry!

Sorry ... I misunderstood.
You should be able to a access those by removing the left dash cover section I did to get at the monitor. Let me see if I can get a better photo, now that I have the monitor out of the dash ... I'll get back to you.

I was hoping to have the parts on hand prior to opening up the dash. That is why I contacted Workhorse and Winnebago for part numbers. They were both no help.

Thanks for looking for me..

These dash switch bulbs are T-1-3/4 style bulbs, either #37 (1.26 watt) or #74 (1.4 watt). I can't see any marking/label on the bulb so you'll need to guess but the wattage is so close, it may not matter.
My local NAPA dealer only has the #74 but they are the correct size to fit the receptacle. My bulb had a blue insulator? where the filament is attached and the NAPA # 74 had a clear one ... don't know if that means anything.
Hope that helps anyone replacing those switch illuminator bulbs.

I want to replace all of them with LED bulbs when I open it up. I just bought some T10 bulbs for my truck, I wonder if they would work?

Do the bulbs lie flat against the back of the dash? Can you get a picture of one of them?

T-10's are way too big. These are much smaller. They plug in and swist in place at right angle to the panel. I've got a good shot at the back of the generator switch light with the monitor out of the dash. I'll take a picture of that from the back and one of the bulb and socket with a ruler so you can see the size. Will do that tomorrow and send off to you.

Thanx, I really appreciate it. The charts I looked at seem to say that T5 is the right size but I have learned to verify.

Does it look like these might work?

The CCIYU 10 pack of T5 1LED look like the right ones to me ... they list 37 and 74 as numbers they replace.
Here's the photos I took of the lamp the illuminates the Generator switch.
Good luck ... maybe you could post the ones you select for the benefit of others.
