Domestic Oasis 972 Door awning material

Hi - well the 2003 door awning was no match for the fast moving storm and hail. It was dry and brittle to begin with and this just pushed it over the edge and into the replacement zone.

Can you just by a roll of material?
If so is the material easy to replace?
Last question -Any suggestions where to buy it?

I've been searching but just see things to replace the complete awning.

Thank
Ben

I just realized that on the older 972 model which I have there is the optional manual extend and retract knob you can hook a crank to when the motor doesn't feel like behaving. I don't see that on the new models. I kind of like having that option. Now I really just want to replace the material.

Ben, that is a bummer. I had my door awning ripped of the coach one day with a heavy gust. It was installed wrong to begin with. But, back to your problem.

The material should be no big deal to replace. Have you called these folks yet? Spare parts That would be my first try. I think most awning shops can custom make a canvas for you if they have the dimensions. Dometic may have a repair manual available for assisting you with the repair.

Happy trails,
Rick y
