Drivers side rear vent?

Can anyone tell me what this is?

Per the brochure (found here: Winnebago Brochure Archive) your 2005 40KD should have a side radiator with either the CAT or Cummins engines, so that should be the engine radiator and Charge Air Cooler (CAC), with the engine A/C evaporator cools & fans below.

You should be able to see details in the Parts Catalog for your coach as well (look under the CHASSIS GROUP and the HEATING AND A/C GROUP).

Oops, sorry, my mistake. Correct info but not what you were talking about. I believe that the item you circled should be one of your 2 furnaces. The Parts Catalog should help with that as well.

I believe Chris is correct. That looks like a propane furnace.
