I just recently realized that the factory wired my soleniod wrong. one wire goes to the isolated stud and the other wire goes to the coach + side. Both wires are red. The factory reveresed the locations. I realized this when I went to install trikl start and the light would not come on and I started measuring voltage. It appears that I was charging the engine battery with the converter/plugged in, instead of the house batteries. Now I have wired it correctly. During my travels over the last year I did ruin a engine/chassis battery(red light on inverter switch came on), a converter (put out too much ac current out), and noticed that my drycamping was for only short periods.
Everything worked fine, except that I was always running the generator when unplugged.
Does anyone have a picture of the battery compartment I would like to double check the wiring. I looked on bagos website but I still want to make sure how many wires go to the isolated stud. My battery has 4 wires on it.
1. to + of the engine/chassis battery
2. one wire to the solenoid (left side)
3. one red wire with a red label
4. one red wire with a blue label
wire #3 and #4... I believe one is the starter/alternator but I can't figure out what the other wire is?
Thanks for any help...
