"first-aid" for Thin Lite ceiling light

Our coach has Thin Lite 766 fluorescent lights in the ceiling ... one of them had deformed so that the lens fell out when we travelled. The plastic around the outside of the metal fixture had spread out so the lens was not held securely.

I took the fixture down, squeezed the plastic toward the center then drilled an 1/8 hole in the middle of each side of the fixture ... I used a small pop rivet to hold the plastic firmly against the metal portion of the fixture .... the lens snaps back in firmly now ...
