Hi, I am a new owner of a 2000 37G Adventurer. I love the coach. I do mostly self contained rving. I had a 31ft fiver prior. The problem I have is filling the fresh water tank in the new rig. No matter how slow I fill the tanks, it creates a large air bubble and distorts the tank. The first use I ran out of water in 2 days, I didn't realize by the time I got to the destination I only had a partial tank of water. Any ideas? Also my batteries 2 12v, went dead within 4 hours after I tuned the heat on. Heat didn't run that much. I never had these problems on my fithwheel. I have been watching this site for a few days and I see alot of knowledge. Any help would be great. Thanks

Welcome Ruffnit!
I suspect a clogged breather hose on your fresh water tank. Look around at the gravity fill inlet and where the large fill tube goes into the storage tank; -you should find a smaller (1/4") tube that's a breather to let air escape as the tank fills with water.
As for your batteries, using the furnace while boondocking (not plugged into 110vac) will take it's toll on batteries, but you should be able to go at least one day before starting the coach or generator to charge them back up. Are both your batteries the same brand, size, and birthdate? They should be. You can use a battery hydrometer to check each cell when the atteries have been at rest, but that maqy not tell you the whole story. I'd also suggest a battery load tester to check their 'strength'.. Your coach is now 5 years old, and if the batteries are OEM, they ought to be replaced about now.

I checked the plumbing diagram online. The breather tube is the overflow also. There is a filter on the end of the tube under the coach, I will check that. I contacted the dealer I bought the coach from and they will check it for me also and said they would check and replace my battaries for me if they are bad. It's still under the 30 day warrenty.

That's good news about the warranty. Try getting the breather tube loose at one end, then blow air thru it to ensure it's not clogged up. I've also heard of people using about a 5 foot section of 3/4" garden hose going inside their normal 1-1/4" water fill hose. They screw on the outside water hose to a female fitting on the hose they installed (essentially extends your water hose clear down to the tank and lets the air gap between both hoses become the "vent").

If your set-up allows you fill the fresh water tank by switching a valve from "City Water" to "Water Tank Fill", you might try unlocking the fresh water tank port (where you can fill from a hose) while you fill from with the valve swithed to "Water Tank Fill" and see if that provides the needed venting.
The fill tube down to the tank from the port is at least one inch diameter and will let a lot of air out.
If that works, then the advice from the other poster about the breather/overflow tube could be followed.
