Fuel Gauge on 34' Winnebago

I am looking for help as my fuel guage is not working I have tried everything short of removing the gas tank does anyone have any suggestions.

I had a 97 Adventure that had the same problem. I had to drop the tank and I found the float got a pin hole in it and droped to the bottom of the tank showing empty. I could have just replaced the float but decided to replace the whole pump assembly while the tank was down.

The model, year, and chassis might get you better answers.
