I have a 2001 Itasca 30w, This unit has a single slide (dinette and kitchen). When I use the furnace the air comes out of the floor vent really strong in the bedroom and bathroom and hall. But the air coming out of the vents up frount is coming out slow compared to the vents in back and not very hot. The furnace is in the back under the bed. I know the flow won't be as strong in the frount as the back because of the distance but I think it should be more then it is. I've checked the cold air return and cleared that of some plastic that was blocking the flow but did not improve it much.

Any ideas or suggestions as to what may be wrong or is this just what I have to live with?

Many WInn. owners have this problem. I cut the air flow in the rear by closinf some of the vents air dams or covering with a piece of magnetic sheeting. This helps some. Poor design on Winn. side.

vent in bedroom is pretty big for the area it needs to heat, restricting it by replacing the grill with an adjustable one would help. Just putting something over it to restrict it will force more air to the front of the coach.

I have a 2000 Winnebago Advebturer 35U and have the sane item with heating I spoke to winnebago about it and they stated that it is ok to remove the vents we have in the unit and replace them the adjustable ones that you can buy at any lowes or home deput store. they stated this way you can adjust the amout of air that you want to each vent to heat the unit.

hope this helps
