H2O Filler cap

Just bought a new to me 2006 Winny Adventurer and is seems to be missing the gravity fill cap for the fresh water tank. I checked the Winnebago parts list for my model and did not see one. Is there one or do I need to improvise? I don't like leaving the fill tube open even though it is behind a locked door.

Doesn't the cover seal the tube when the cover is shut?

The round part in the cover seals the filler when shut. I thought the same thing when I first got mine.

So that is what that is for. It is so dirty I could not imagine using it. I will try to clean it and if unable, will look for a replacement. Has anyone replaced it?

Thanks for the feedback.

Have the same

That is identical to the fill door on my 2007 Access 29T.
The seal is supposed to be that sponge neoprene but it has never sealed well.
Take a corner too fast with a full tank and you'll see the water droplets running down the side of the rig
I would just buy some more off Amazon. You can buy it in white with the sticky back.
Just search for "White Neoprene Sponge Foam Rubber" and I'm sure you'll end up with enough to send me some.

Cheers

Standard Winnebago potable water door. As others have stated, the door is the cover and seals the intake but still allows the vent to work properly. You are good to go.
