Hi
It sounds like a short in the wiring or switch may want to look close to that switch, it won't be a short to ground as it would blow the fuse could be a short across hot wire to hot wire in other words like jumping out the switch making it redundant hope this gives you an Idea of what to look for, look closely at the wiring may have a melted pair in that circuit or it could be the switch it's self. Start with the switch before looking through wiring as that would be an easier fix.
Good Luck hope this helps.

If your chassis ( Freightliner ? ) is equipped with daytime running lights ; poor ground of the headlights could result in all the coach lights lighting up as the power cross feeds through bulbs and wires looking to ground.

Have you called Freightliner about wiring info ?

Have your serial number handy and call 1-800-385-4357 ask for schematics and diagrams .

The problem is that Freightliner wiring ends at the frame rail and then Winnebago takes over for the front cap and all the equipment they add.

But checking the light wiring ground wires in the front end should be your first step .
