Hidden Wiring????

According to my operators manual for the coach shown below there is wiring (near the steering column) to wire in a trailer brake control. If anyone has ACTUALLY found this wiring, please let me know where you ACTUALLY found it.

My previous coach was a 2010 40' Tour. There were 4 wires with a plug tucked up under the dash to the left side of the steering column zip tied to the rest of the wire loom. I called Winnebago and they sent me a photo of the plug to help identify it. Once I saw the photo, I easily found the wires for the trailer brake controller. I put the photo in the carrying case with all the manuals when I sold it.

In my 2007 Sightseer it was to the left of the steering column and it was pushed way up in and wire tied to other wires. As I recall I had to feel for it as I couldn't twist my body into a position to be able to see it.

The hardest part of the job was finding it. Once found it was plug and play with my brake controller.

Did you find it yet?

I have a 2013 Journey 40u and had a similar problem finding the connector. It's there... My son found it on the left side up by the firewall (close to the side wall). I looked there several times, but he saw it right away. Stupid trifocal glasses!
