Holding tank panel no power

2003 Adventurer 38G - none of my holding tank level panel lights will work unless I push on the House battery voltage gauge button at the same time. Push any of the 4 buttons for the tank panel gauge and nothing. Hold up the House battery voltage button and then all of the tank gauges will work. If I push the chassis battery voltage button nothing shows up on the digital gauge ether.

Also found that this problem somehow is tied to my steps not work too.

So now to get any of the tank level lights to work and to get my steps to work correctly, I have to continually hold the House battery Voltage button up.

All other 12v systems seem to work ok on their own, lights, water heater, water pump, etc…

Hi
I think if you change a power source and it works then you need to focus on what's considered the normal power source. You have proven nothing wrong with the wiring and level panel lights it has to be you're battery bank some where I think.
Good Luck
