Are the gauges for the onboard tank and the indicator on the systems panel accurate enough for me to go down to 1/4-1/2 tank before refueling?

If not what would be the lowest I could go and still have fuel in the tank?

Hot California thanks.

I use the guage on the tank rather than depend on the system panel. Currently my tank indicates 1/2. My panel indicates the tank is full
Last time I was in Forest City, they took the front off the panel to check and fix another problem I was having and from that time forward, my propane reading has always been off. Next time in Forest City, will have them look at it again.

Ours are of the 1/3 resolution and they seem fairly accurate. I have compared the LEDs to the analog tank gauge and I believe they track faithfully to each other. Once we get down to 1/3 tank, it is time to start thinking about a fill - that way we can wait until it is handy and convenient and not a crisis.

A cool Alaska "you're welcome"

I'v run the guage on the tank itself down to E until filling it with 22 gallons of propane. I believe that the tank guage is more accurate that the lights on the panel. At least in my situation.

Hi All,
I concur with bobpie, we have run ours almost completely out with no problems. When empty, the 31 gallon tank should take nearly 25 gallons of propane (80%). We have taken on 24+ gallons on several occasions. When the tank is about to run out, the propane odorant smell will get quite strong when using the stove.

As to accuracy, the 1/3 light goes out right at the 1/3 indication on the tank but when the tank just hits E, there seems to be about 5 gallons left. This is probably quite variable coach to coach and may very well be adjustable by an authorized propane repair facility.
