How big is my Fresh Water tank???

We have a 2005 Itasca Meridian 34 foot DP and we enjoy boondocking or dry camping a lot. We've owned the motorhome for 4 years and one of the things that has always bugged me is not knowing just how big our FW tank really is.

We can dry camp for about 7 days with conservative use of water and even then it is usually the black or grey water tank odors that determine when it is time to leave.

The manual states the FW tank is 33 gallons. The IKP34H parts list indicates the FW tank size 86 gallons. In seven days it sure seems like we use more than 33 gallons, but we don't run out.

So does anyone now just how big the FW tank is on a 2005 Itasca Meridian 34H? And no, I don't have the patience to fill the tank one gallon at a time!

Thanks,
FnEJ

It was easy to find out. I just googled your unit, downloaded the brochure. It said 93 gallons with heater. So probably 83-86 gallons, depending on size of water heater.

I don't know the size of your fresh water tank.
Sorry.

However I can tell you this:
If/when you can smell black or grey water tank odors inside your coach something needs to be fixed, or replaced.....(your toilet seal/gasket, a P trap, an air admittance valve, a cracked or plugged vent pipe, etc.).

Interesting. So the owners manual is incorrect, and I haven't been as conservative as I thought.

I do appreciate the help though.

I'm going with the 80 gallon plus size.

Thanks,

FnEJ
