Improved pavement handling/ruined for boondocking 2015 Vista?

Anybody looking at the new front end/dash/overhead bunk on the 2015 Vista?

If found "txwalleywinnebago" posted a walk-around from the April 2015 dealer show.

The rig looks so much better! (IMO)

But I'm curious about your opinions ... the rig looks like it's ready to bottom out in the showroom! Of course the chassis low points haven't moved (axles, diff, etc), but look how low the body now sits! They say 4 inches lower, but all I see is a wheel going into a hole and the body smacking the ground.

The body used to ride at or above the center line of the rim, now it rides near the bottom!

If you look for more 2015 videos from same author, the "new" 2015 Mercedes sprinter interior is another huge upgrade if you like something slightly more modern.

Put the Mercedes interior into a "designer edition" <30' gasser!

Thanks!

2015 Model, very interesting. I'm curious if they are going to lower the body on the Sunova/Sightseer line also. Also I'm curious about why there were so many steps up into the MH.

2015 Sightseer video ...

2015 Sightseer is also up, just search 2015 winnebago (your favorite model). Watch one of the videos from TXWalley, then youtube is smart enough to put other videos from same source towards the top of the search results.

All those steps ... they make the rise on each step very short (4"?) so it's easy to get in/out.

On the Vista, it appears that they extended the sides closer to the ground and left the floor height the same. In the video, he mentions that the storage bins are now larger.

Ah, that would explain that. I was wondering because my Sunova only has two steps and that usually puts the bottom step about 6" off the ground.

Saw a 2015 Itasca 27N today with the new dash and lower ground clearance.
I like the dash, much cleaner and there are now cup holders mounted to the sidewalls. The coach is about 4-5 inches lower than a 2014. Compared the nose ground clearance to a FR3 and they were just about the same. The floor level to the ground has not changed and pass thru storage clearance is unchanged. All the storage areas are now larger with taller access doors, due to the now lowered sides.
