Discovered a small DEF fluid leak coming from one of the band clamps on the DPF or SCR...still not sure which one is which...have her at the shop now. No codes were displayed, performance is good, and no smoking from exhaust pipe...anybody ever dealt with this issue?

I'll give mine a look see. Thanks for this info. How much mileage do you have on the rig now?

Microwave LED upgrade

My 40U has the Sharp Insight microwave/convection oven. The original lights over the stove were not worth turning on. They were very yellow and dim. I recently found this: https://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/...pe,E17,1,3376:

For the price you can't beat them. I have no idea how long they will last but, at this posting of about a week in use, they are fantastic. The two stages still work on the microwave and the 4000K light temperature is very natural and pleasing to the eyes. I have been looking for something like this for a couple of years now. I am so glad to finally have them. M4Products.com have similar LED's but they are 2 1/2 times more money.

Happy trails y'all,
Rick Y

Great! My Kwikee step motor is pretty much shot! I found one on Amazon for $89 bucks...should not be too difficult to replace...

Sorry for the delayed response, Jim. Just recovering from eye surgery. I had a motor fail when parked overnight at a Flying J in LA. Found a dealer that had one and that night and replaced it in the AM before the big rigs started to roll. Your price is fantastic! You should have no problems swapping it out.

What was different? I know one of the Ford door motors works but the shaft is short making the durability of the shorter gear questionable. I don't recall what I paid at the dealer but I think it was more. What did they charge for shipping?

While replacing the engine air filter I had a hard time closing the 'snap clamps' that hold the can in place. I found I could use a broom handle from the back (open the radiator hatch) to easily push them closed.

Hope this saves someone time & frustration.

By the way, filter was almost 4 years old. Gauge showed it was flowing ok. But very dirty on the inside, but still clean on the outlet side. Most importantly no signs of any deterioration.
