Just wondering at what fuel tank level does the generator stop running?

The generator is supposed to stop working when you have about a 1/4 of a tank of diesel remaining. Mine will go past that somewhat to where the level is about 3 needle widths less than a 1/4 of a tank.

Our 2004 quits just a little below the 1/4 tank mark.

The generator will prime itself after you run out of fuel ... you just hold down on the switch for a very long time ...

Ditto - 1/4 tank left = no gen set.

I actually ran our Onan out of fuel and had a hard time getting it started and keeping it running. Somebody told me about a trick to prime it - hold the start/stop switch in the stop position for a minute or two. This will cause the fuel pump to run and prime the engine.

Mine shuts down at exactly 1/4 left on dashboard gauge.

My 2002 Journey DL has a 90 gallon tank, right after my generator ran out of fuel, I put 72 gallons in the tank.
