Lamps not working in RV

Have a 2001 Winnebago Adventurer 35U. Bought it new. 153000 miles so far.

Having 12v DC problems. One of the DC breakers popped and it runs to the lights on the bedroom extension. The light in the closet and the reading lights over the bed are dead. All other lights in bedroom work. Before I left home I checked all the lights in the MH but the extensions were in. When I got to Camp Ground I extended the slides and now lights mentioned don't work.
Don't know path of the wires. Can anyone can help?

Breaker or fuse? Did you just try replacing the fuse? They do get weak over time.

Lamps not working

It is the breaker. I moved the connector to another breaker and and pops there.

The wiring diagram gives me information that I didn't have. When I get home I think I will be able to trace the wiring and find/fix the problem.

It could be corrosion in one of the lights or switch.

If it happened after you put the slides out I would check where the wires flex under the slide.

You may want to check the metal bases on all the light bulbs before tearing into any wiring. Sometimes the bedding compound fails so that the glass vacuum bulb spins in its metal base causing a short circuit and the fix is simply to replace the damaged light bulb. Another point of failure is the wires inside the swivels of the reading lights as they can wear through over time especially if you are constantly readjusting them.

On the 35U I believe the flexible power cable going into the bedroom slide is under the bed along with the single piston for the slide hydraulics plus the hydraulic hoses since the basement bins underneath are not part of the slide due to their housing the Propane Tank and Basement AC unit.

That is a fairly large slide having the hall wardrobe closet going from the kitchen pantry past the bathroom, on the opposite side, inside it and then the nightstands and bed extending through the bedroom within a few inches of the back of the coach. The bathroom door is designed so it can be left open right up to the pantry to close off the hallway making for a very large master bedroom with a very large dressing area in that configuration. By now the springs and such in the door hinges that help it stay open like that may have failed.
