Not to try and change your mind but we were going to go with the TV lift idea but realized the viewing angles were not acceptable from all areas of the coach. Plus it is another piece of furniture taking up space.
We ended up mounting a 37" on the wall behind the passenger seat (removed large entertainment center which is another story) and used a CLO motorized mount that allows you to "swing" the TV 90 degrees from the wall. With a push of a remote button, we can position the TV for any viewing angle in the RV. I also might add, we went as far as removing our dinette table and replaced it with a Euro-recliner.
Just a suggestion from someone that has been there.
Good luck, I'm sure it will be great any way you end up doing it. NOTE: I too hate that overhead TV idea.
