Looking to purchase a 2008 Vista 32K, does anyone have any experience with this model

Hi everyone,
I am new to motor homes, although my wife grew up in them. We have looked at several models and been to numerous dealers. Currently I am looking at a 2008 Winnebago Vista 32K and was wondering if anyone on the forum has had any experience with this model. Particularly mechanical issues, roof/leak issues (as I am not familiar with the fiberglass roof), and generally your overall thoughts on the model itself and Winnebago. I am also interested in any areas I should pay particular attention to when I go to look at it. Thanks for the help!
Tom

Can't comment on a Vista but we have had 2 Winnebagos with fiberglass roofs and no problems.

Check out "How To Buy a Used Motorhome" by Bill Myers. This is a great book with lots of information on what to look for. You can find it on Amazon or Kindle ebooks. We used it to buy our Chieftain last September, and it helped immensely.
Good Luck

Greetings,
New to this forum been on other forums for a long time...We purchased a new 2012 Vista 32K in January and we really like the size, features, and quality. We got a really great deal on it as it was a left over discontinued model but it works perfect for our family of 4. The features are really great for us, 32" LCD in the front, bunks have LCDs, and reat TV is great, I like the Inverter which is something you dont see on many "entry level motorhomes. It would be easier to tell you the few things we dont like. The rear bed that came with the 32k is stuffed with broken glass and nails, I had a custom memory foram mattress made before our first trip, I with it had a drivers and passengers side console, having a local carpenter address that as I write this. The only other complaint is I with the storage doors on the outside had the locking latch handles, its a pain with the twist locks (all the 2012 Vistas have the better handles) Other than that if the floor plan works, get it I love mine have no regrets...best of luck

Thanks

I appreciate all the great comments. In the end it came down to a 2011 Fleetwood Storm 32BH and the 2010 Winnebago Vista 32K. For our family the Fleetwood edged out the Winnebago. Thanks again for all of the feedback.
