I haven't looked to see where the horn is mounted on my Sightseer & Workhorse chassis, but has anyone replaced it with something that sounds more authoritive? I don't really want something like airhorns, at least not the type that are mounted on the roof... anyone have some suggestions on some they have mounted?

The OEM horn sounds like something from a small import car, not a motorhome, and certainly isn't very loud.

Go to a junkyard and get a horn from an older Cadillac. Usually there are three horns mounted all together each has a different note. I paid $10.00 for the one on my old pace arrow and it sounded great.

Oh boy! Can we start an endless "train horn" debate?

Had to ask since this seems to be a favorite whine on another forum.

There are several variaties out there that will mount under the hood with ease; both air and conventional. Both seriously loud.

Try these guys.

I have a set of Hadley Bullys installed low and behind the front fascia facing forward. They are located slightly right of the license plate. I rarely if ever use my horns but just in case.
